Together we did it! I want to thank all those supporters and volunteers that made this campaign a success. You never stopped working and fighting for our district and causes. We knocked on over 20,000 doors, made 22,000 phone calls, raised over $140,000, and put out over 1,000 campaign signs. Your enthusiasm and energy was demonstrated on the doorsteps of homes, with great showings at our parades, and at numerous sign waving events. You made this happen and I can not thank you enough.
I want to thank Liz Loomis for running a very well organized campaign. She and her family have given so much to our district. Now it is time for our district to come to together to make our communities a better place to live. I believe this will be a challenging year financially for our state, but I know we can balance the budget without raising your taxes. With a difficult economy and high unemployment in our state, the last thing the state should do is take more money from your family’s budget. We can do this and I am honored that you have given me your trust to accomplish our goals.
